Starting MoneyVra…

What the tool shows

MoneyVra Tool puts recurring income, recurring expenses and planned savings on one comparable timeline. It is designed for visibility: the same set of entries can be viewed by day, week, two weeks, month, three months, six months or year. The tool does not connect to a bank, create an account, recommend a target or judge an expense.

Different schedules are difficult to compare directly. A monthly salary, weekly fuel purchase, annual insurance renewal and payment made five times per week cannot be added safely until each has been normalized. MoneyVra uses a consistent annual basis and then converts the annual totals into the selected time view.

What to enter

Begin with recurring income and select the schedule that describes how it arrives. Add another income source only when it repeats. Planned savings is optional and remains separate from expenses so the result can distinguish money entered as a cost from money intentionally set aside.

Choose only categories that apply to you, then select individual recurring items and enter an amount and frequency. Custom items can be added inside a category. Do not enter passwords, card numbers, bank account details, government identification numbers or other credentials; the tool never needs them.

Calculation method

MoneyVra annualizes entries using these multipliers: daily × 365, weekly × 52, every two weeks × 26, twice a month × 24, monthly × 12, every two months × 6, quarterly × 4, every six months × 2 and yearly × 1. An item entered as “times per week” is multiplied by the chosen count and then by 52.

After annualization, the selected lens divides the annual amount by 365 for a day, 52 for a week, 26 for two weeks, 12 for a month, 4 for three months, 2 for six months or 1 for a year. These are normalized equivalents, not predictions of an exact bank statement for a particular calendar month.

Reading the snapshot

  • Total income is the normalized total of the recurring income sources entered.
  • Entered recurring expenses is the normalized total of selected expenses with valid amounts.
  • Planned savings is the recurring amount the user said they intend to set aside.
  • Remaining unallocated is entered income minus entered expenses and planned savings.
  • Shortfall appears when entered expenses and planned savings exceed entered income.
  • Expense spectrum shows each category’s share of entered recurring expenses; it is not a recommended share of income.

Remaining unallocated is not automatically disposable income or additional savings. Any cost that was not entered is absent from the result. The snapshot should therefore be read as a transparent calculation of the supplied entries, not as a complete statement of personal finances.

Worked example

EntryScheduleMonthly equivalent
Income: 6,000 USDMonthly6,000 USD
Rent: 1,800 USDMonthly1,800 USD
Fuel: 70 USDWeekly303.33 USD
Coffee: 5 USD5 times per week108.33 USD
Insurance: 1,200 USDYearly100 USD
Planned savings: 500 USDMonthly500 USD

In this illustration, entered recurring expenses equal about 2,311.66 USD per month. After planned savings of 500 USD, the remaining unallocated amount is about 3,188.34 USD. The example is mathematical and does not imply that any amount or category is appropriate for another person.

Privacy, accuracy and limits

Financial amounts entered into MoneyVra Tool are held in JavaScript memory for the active page session. They are not written to a MoneyVra financial database, localStorage or IndexedDB. Refreshing or closing the page clears the active entries. The selected currency code may be remembered on the device so the interface can reopen with that preference; no financial amount is stored with it.

Website infrastructure, security, consent, analytics or advertising services may process technical information separately, as described in the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. Results depend on the accuracy and completeness of user entries. MoneyVra provides informational calculations only and does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal, accounting, credit, insurance or debt advice.
